Warsaw Jubilee Days

June 8th-11th

This festival is designed for good old fashioned family fun! Carnival rides, food & games. Sponsored by Warsaw Jubilee Days, Inc.

 

The Dam Experience

NOTE:  THIS YEAR THIS EVENT WILL BE HELD JULY 2nd WITH RAIN DATE OF

JULY 3rd

A huge professional fireworks display is shot from the Harry S. Truman Dam and is viewed from both sides by boat and land.  Come spend the day at the beach and stay for this beautiful patriotic display.  The display is made possible only through donations we receive for the event.  If you would like to donate, please send your check to Dam Experience, PO Box 264, Warsaw, MO  65355.   Every little bit helps!

 

Warsaw Rodeo

July 22 & 23, 2011~ 8 pm

Come have a rootin' tootin' time at the RODEO! Sponsored by the local Masonic Lodge, this event is URA and MRCA sanctioned. Included in the event are a calf scramble, queen contest, and watch out for the Bull Riding!

                   

31st Annual Heritage Days

October 15-16                       

Visit Drake Harbor and the Warsaw Community Building where scores of modern

contemporary crafters display and sell their wares.  Then celebrate the unique

Warsaw area heritage with old-time demonstrations from the 1800's at the Harry

S. Truman Visitors Center.  Both areas provide plenty of eating opportunities as

well.  Thousands of visitors attend this festival and we can't wait to see you! 

Admission to the Harbor area is free. Bus transportation back and forth to Truman Dam is $4 for the entire weekend.  Both parts of the festival have handicap parking and bus transportation available. Call 660-438-5922 or 1-800-WARSAW-4 for details.

 

Haunted Harbor Boo Walk

October (exact date TBA)

Bring your little ghosts and goblins to Drake Harbor for safe trick-or-treating and

fun for the whole family! Area businesses hand out candy from booths located around the Harbor Walkway.

 

Crafts and Collectibles Show

November 12 (First Saturday of Deer Season) 

The Holiday season begins with this wonderful Christmas craft show in the

Warsaw Community Building.  Get a jump on your Christmas shopping and find

just the right gift for the special person on your list. 8:30AM - 4:30PM.

 

Warsaw Antique & Unique Shop Holiday Open House

November  20

While you're in town for the WBW craft show, don't forget to make the circle to all the antique and unique shops in town.  They will be all dressed up for the holiday and waiting to help you pick out that special gift.  Each shop has its own

personality. You will want to visit them all.  Many will serve refreshments. 

Warsaw wants to be the place you do all your Christmas shopping!

 

Warsaw Lighting Ceremony, Christmas Parade & Santa Day

December 3

Start the day from 9-12 at the Community Building with the Keyboard Kids and

Santa!  Bring the kids for fun crafts and a chance to get their picture with the jolly man himself.  Then hang around for a  huge celebration "Light Up Warsaw for the Holidays"!  The downtown area has been adorned with festive white lights across the building tops.   The annual Christmas Parade will delight the young and old.   Many shops will remain open until 8 p.m.  Kick off the holiday season WARSAW STYLE!

 

Kaysinger Christmas

December

Join the Kaysinger Bluff Pioneer Heritage Association for a celebration of

Christmas in the 1800's.  Food and a Christmas Store available.  For more information contact Steve Hansen at 660-438-6968.
